Scope of Services
Basic Services:

Fast-Tracking:
Accelerated design capability to satisfy fast-tracking schedule requirements for the building frame or foundations.
Restoration:
Capabilities range from site reconnaissance and condition surveys to complete documentation of repairs related to overload, corrosion or fire.
Renovation:
Complete documentation capabilities relative to changes in occupancy and processes, expansions, alterations or increases in load requirements.
Bid Document Preparation:
Owner assistance in the preparation of bidding information, bid forms, conditions of the contract, and the form of agreement between the Owner and the Contractor.
Performance Specifications:
Document structural design requirements for materials or systems normally provided by a speciality contractor.
Value Engineering:
Develop alternate solutions to frame, foundation, or construction materials to effect cost reductions. Solutions are carefully examined to insure conformance with the design intent and the costs necessary to implement the alternate solutions.
Peer Review
Investigate and report on the acceptability of the structural documents developed by other design professionals. Peer review is recognized as the highest level of action to improve quality in design.
Failure Investigations
Investigate and report on the causes and required remedial actions related to structural failures.
Expert Testimony
Document assignment of responsibility relative to design or construction errors and omissions.
