Schools Projects Include:

Fine Arts and Performing Center, Garrison Forest School, Garrison Forest Maryland:

This 14,000 square foot project included a recital hall, art studios and sound proof practice rooms. The structure was light gage structural metal framing with exposed heavy timber trusses. Architect: Grieves, Worrall, Wright and O'Hatnick, M&E: James Posey Associates.

Additions and Alterations to the Indian Creek School, Crownsville, Maryland:

This 37,500 square foot project included a gymnasium with a stage and locker rooms, music and art rooms and classrooms. The structure was steel joists on steel frame at the Gym The remaining roofs were masonry load bearing. Architect: Copley/Filkins Group, M&E: Allen and Shariff Corporation.

Renovation and Restoration of the 1904 Building at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, Maryland:

The existing four levels were renovated for use as design studios, classrooms, administration and gallery space. Renovations included the construction of new floors between the first and second floor, new stairs, an elevator and new mechanical systems. The existing structure was concrete slabs on steel framing. The main vertical supporting system was brick walls. The exterior walls were marble supported by the brick. Architect: Grieves Associates, M&E: EBL Engineers, Inc.

George Washington Elementary School No. 22, Baltimore, Maryland:

This 23,000 square foot, 2 story school included classrooms and a multipurpose room. The structure is steel joists and beams supported on interior columns and exterior masonry walls. Architect: Harrison and Crain.

Alterations and Additions to Friends School, Wilmington, Delaware:

Alterations and Additions to Friends Lower School, Wilmington, Delaware, This project included a 15,000 square foot two story classroom addition to this existing elementary school. The project also included a 6,000 square foot long span outdoor multipurpose pavilion surrounded by three 2,000 square foot transportable modular classrooms.. Architect: Grieves Associates, M&E: EBL Engineers, Inc.
